Director of Lettings,
Graham has worked in lettings and sales for over 28 years and knows all there is to know about letting your property in Welwyn Garden City. Graham is passionate about providing high levels of service to both landlords and tenants and is always happy to resolve any problems you may have. He says the best part of working at Wrights is getting out and about in our lovely town and he has a natural instinct for finding the right tenants for your property.
Hayley has been with the Wrights team for over 24 years and is the Lettings Manager for Hatfield and Stevenage. She also looks after our block management site in Stevenage. She has a varied role and ensures that all aspects of the lettings department run smoothly. Hayley is also responsible for keeping up to date with all of the new lettings legislation and managing any changes. In her spare time Hayley keeps busy playing netball in a local league and she also enjoys cycling and reading.
Melvin is the founder and director of Wrights and has a busy and involved role managing all three of our branches. Melvin was already an experienced estate agent with a great deal of local knowledge when he founded our Hatfield branch in 1983. Due to the ongoing success at Hatfield he decided to open a further branch in Welwyn Garden City in 1993 and this was shortly followed by another branch opening in Stevenage. Melvin has created a successful independent agency with a family feel where the customer always comes first. Melvin is also passionate about the local community and supporting Willow by raising funds for this worthwhile cause, and he recently won a 'Special Fundraising Award' from Agents Giving.

P.A. to Melvin Wright,
Christine is the business accountant for all of the Wrights offices and is based in our Hatfield branch. She looks after all the company finances. Christine enjoys working for the Wrights team and in her spare time she likes socialising with friends and family.
Natalija has been working for Wrights for six years. She’s always had a passion for property and even enjoyed watching property programmes with her mum when she was little - so working for an Estate Agents was a natural choice. She loves everything about her job and and enjoys working in the picturesque surroundings of Welwyn Garden City. In her spare time she loves to socialise with friends and also enjoys going to the theatre.
David is our Sales Manager and has worked at Wrights for four years. He runs the sales department and helps with the general management of the office. He also conducts house valuations and meets and greets potential customers. He really enjoys meeting clients, getting to know them and finding you what they need. He’s proud to work for an independent estate agents and is always keen to let customers know the benefits to selling their property with Wrights. In his spare time David keeps busy spending time with his partner and young son and he also coaches mini-hockey having played hockey for Letchworth for over 17 years. He also likes socialising with friends and family.
Sandra has worked for Wrights for approx. 10 years both on a part time and sometimes full-time basis at our Stevenage and Hatfield offices. Sandra has many responsibilities which include sending out all the inspection, Gas Safety and Portable Appliance appointments to landlords and tenants. Sandra also keeps the filing up to date and when on duty deals with the post. Sandra loves the variation of her job and has always enjoyed working at Wrights. Socially Sandra loves the theatre and eating out. Sandra also has family in Australia which she has been very lucky to have visited on numerous occasions.
Assistant Lettings Manager,
Philip is a local lad who lived here as a child and went to school in Welwyn Garden City. He liked it so much that he still lives here. He's a real expert on the area and enjoys giving both landlords and tenants the benefit of his advice and sharing his knowledge of the Hertfordshire area. Philip has been with Wrights for 16 years and has worked in both the lettings and sales markets during this time. He previously worked in the catering industry managing a number of high profile pubs and hotels.
I started Wrights in 2014 as a sales and lettings Saturday person. Through the years I have gained knowledge and experience in the whole selling process from valuing, selling and progressing the sale to completion. I love meeting new clients and assisting them to find their ideal home. In my spare time, I love to travel whilst spending time with my two children.
Karen is a Wrights stalwart who has been with us for over 15 years so she knows the office, the team and the local area really well. Karen came to us from a catering background where she managed a team of 50 staff so she's used to keeping calm under pressure and getting things done! Karen now oversees the maintenance team and the day to day running of the office and helps to keep everything running smoothly.
Asha is a lettings consultant at our Stevenage branch and enjoys the busy and varied role. She deals with landlords and tenants on a daily basis, property maintenance, regular inspections and check out reports. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, keeping fit and socialising with friends and family.
Lucinda started as a Lettings Saturday girl four years ago whilst studying and has now progressed to working in our Accounts department. Lucinda has lived in Hertfordshire her whole life so is very familiar with the local area. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, eating out and socialising with friends and family.
Salvatore began his career at Wrights as a Saturday assistant when he was just 16 and has worked his way up to the position of Branch Manager and has celebrated his tenth year with the firm. Salv has a wealth of knowledge with a demonstrated history of working in the real estate industry. He enjoys sharing his experiences with buyers and sellers and his role includes meeting clients and dealing with valuations. Being passionate about his role does not stop at Wrights and attends regular networking meetings with local firms and frequently attends local town centre meetings. In his spare time he enjoys construction and DIY and recently undertook a reconstruction of his family home. Salv also enjoys cooking and going for walks. Salvatore is currently undergoing enrolment onto the Associate members scheme of the RICS.
Gaye is a consultant at our Stevenage branch and loves working with the Wrights team. In her spare time she enjoys socialising with family and friends.
Joseph was born in the QE2, raised in Hatfield and attended schools within the neighbouring towns so has a great understanding of local life. Before joining Wrights, Joseph completed his degree before spending extended periods travelling Asia, Australia and Europe. Having returned he is looking to build a career in an industry he has always been interested in.
Josie has worked in the estate agency industry for an amazing 18 years. She works for Wrights as a lettings manager. This means that she is responsible for running the lettings department, building new business and dealing with the many aspect of the lettings industry including dealing with customers, lettings administration and property maintenance. Josie loves her job and likes the varied and busy nature of the role. In her spare time she enjoys travelling and spending time with her three beautiful grandchildren. She is also a big heavy metal fan and likes to go to concerts whenever she can.
Sharon enjoys her busy role as a Lettings Consultant. She deals with the landlords and tenants on a daily basis and she also carries out regular property inspections. Sharon loves the fact the role is varied and that every day is different and she gets to meet a range of diverse people in her role. She also enjoys working with an established and friendly team. In her spare time she enjoys socialising with her family and friends, dining out, going to the cinema and theatre.
Sales Progressor / Fundraising Co-ordinator,
Tina has been with Wrights for eight years and is our Sales Progressor. Her role involves progressing sales from start to finish including liaising with all of the involved parties such as solicitors, vendors and buyers. Her favourite part of the role is getting to know her clients and seeing the end results of her hard work – handing over the keys to happy new homeowners! In her spare time she enjoys going out and having fun with her friends and family and she also speaks fluent Italian.

Michelle has been with Wrights for 17 years and works as a lettings administrator. She deals with landlords and tenants on a daily basis and provides valuations, regular inspections and check out reports. Michelle loves the fact that every day is different in lettings and she gets to meet a range of diverse people in her role. She says it’s a great feeling when you find the perfect match of landlord and tenant. She also enjoys working in an established and friendly team. In her spare time she is involved in local politics and also does a lot of voluntary work. The work Wrights do for Willow is very important to her and she also works with a local school and organises Wrigths sponsorship of their summer fete. She also enjoys playing darts and pool.
James joined our Hatfield branch towards the end of 2019. James has a vast experienced knowledge within the Sales industry and is now turning that experience in to property. James has a real passion for finding applicants their forever home. In his spare time James likes to watch football and is kept busy by his three children
Ronan has recently joined our Hatfield branch as a Sales Negotiator working with our Sales Manager, David Gentry. Ronan has excelled since he started and has built a good relationship with our waiting applicants, arranging viewings and negotiating offers. We are excited to see Ronan progress within his role and we welcome him to our Wrights family
Emma has been with the company for over 17 years and works as a lettings administrator. This is a varied role which encompasses all aspects of the lettings business including market appraisals, valuations and dealing with the needs of both landlords and tenants. She enjoys working in a close knit, supportive team and having two young children she appreciates the great work life balance that Wrights promote. When she’s not looking after her children Emma enjoys sports and going to the gym and is a member of a local netball team. Emma has also taken on the role of a trustee of a charity www.rstrust.com
which provides support for people with spinal injuries.
Sue has worked for Wrights for an amazing 25 years – beginning in the sales team and them moving over the lettings side. Sue is a lettings administrator and some of her responsibilities include property inspections and market appraisals. She works with both tenants and landlords and deals with a high number of student lets as well. She loves getting to know her clients and resolving any issues or problems they may have. Out of work Sue loves to travel and enjoys going on holiday. She also swims regularly, cooks and reads.
Megan joined Wrights Estate Agents as a Sales Progressor. She previously worked for Wrights for 5 years and enjoyed it so much that she was keen to come back. She loves helping clients to understand the sales process and offers help and advice when they need support. The best part of her job is seeing customers smile when completion day arrives. Megan is married with four children and seven grandchildren and in her spare time enjoys horse riding, swimming and drag racing.
