WHAT THE OWNERS SAY-Having originally come from North London, Welwyn is a lovely, serene place to live. I have found it really easy to commute into London, with only a 25-minute train journey, and my wife loves her “commute” through Welwyn into work, where she enjoys horse, sheep and rabbit-spotting. We are lucky to have a short 20-minute walk into town, which we often do, and we are also only five minutes away from a corner shop, take-aways and a pharmacy, lovely fields (for picnics) and woods to explore. The community is friendly and welcoming and has really come together during these difficult times. The fact that our flat benefits from a quiet communal garden has allowed us more freedom during lockdown, where we have had BBQs, sunbathed, and just enjoyed the outdoors. We love AL8 so much now that we are looking to stay in the area for many years to come. -
